What we are, and aren’t
We help buyers find small businesses and help owners make theirs ready to sell. We aren’t a lender, an appraiser, a law firm or an accounting firm. A buybox, a score or anything we say in a consultation isn’t a lending decision, a valuation, or advice on any specific deal. Get your own legal, tax and financial advice before you buy or sell a business.
Paid consultations
The Fit Consultation and the Facility Walkthrough are priced and described on their own pages. Payment is handled by our payment provider under its own terms. Any deeper engagement is covered by the agreement we sign together, which wins if it and these terms disagree.
What you send us
Send only information you have the right to share. We use it to work with you, as our privacy policy describes, and we keep the details of your business confidential.
Our content
The writing, tools and design on this site belong to Naughton Ventures LLC. You can quote short passages with a link back. Please don’t copy the tools or republish whole pages without asking.
Things not to do
Don’t use the site to break the law, and don’t overload, attack or spam the site or its forms.
No guarantees
We provide the site and its free tools as they are. We can’t promise they’ll always be available, complete or free of errors, or that any business will sell or any buyer will find a match. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss that comes from using the site or relying on it.

Texas law governs these terms. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Texas.
